FAQ
1. What should I do when the device cannot be paired?
Reinstall Lockin Hame App, make sure that your mobile phone's Bluetooth is enabled and that the Lockin Home App is allowed to access your mobile phone's Bluetooth service, power on the device again, and bind it with your mobile phone on the Lockin Home App.
2. What should I do when the Wifi Bridge cannot connect to the network successfully?
A) Long press the Wifi Bridge button for about 10s until the indicator light is off for about 1 second, and then the Wifi Bridge will be restored and reset.
B) Follow the pairing instructions above to re-pair the Wifi Bridge.
3. How to reset the device to factory settings?
G30 Smart Lock: The device is reset to factory settings when it is no longer associated with a user account. There is no factory reset button.
G30 keypad: The device is reset to factory settings when it is no longer associated with a user account. There is no factory reset button.
G30 Wi-Fi Bridge: The device is reset to factory settings when it is no longer associated with a user account. You can press the button on the Wi-Fi bridge and hold for about 10 seconds until the indicator light turns off for about 1 second to reset the device.
4. What should I do when the lock or keypad stops working after working for a while?
Remove the batteries to turn off the device for about 2 minutes, then insert new AA alkaline dry batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries or use rechargeable batteries!
5.What can I do when the door cannot be unlocked via the keypad?
(1) Check if the password is correct or has expired.
(2) Check if the keypad is too far from the lock. It is recommended that the distance between the keypad and the lock does not exceed 3 m.
(3) When your phone is connected to the G30 Smart Lock, for security reasons, the door can only be unlocked via the app, and unlocking via the keypad is not allowed. After you exit the app or stop using the app for 10 seconds, the keypad can be used to unlock the door again.
6. What can I do when an app asks to reconnect Bluetooth?
If you stop using the app for 10 seconds, the Bluetooth connection between the lock and your phone will be automatically terminated. It's normal for the Bluetooth reconnect prompt to appear in the app.
7. The lock and keypad cannot be linked/unlinked:
1. Remove the lock and keypad from the gateway, if both are connected to the gateway.
2. Check that both the lock and keypad have established a Bluetooth connection with your phone, if they are not connected to the gateway.
